The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) announced that the Young Creatives Challenge (YC2) Season 3 application period will now run until January 31, 2026, with up to ₱1 million in prizes.
YC2, under the umbrella of DTI’s Malikhaing Pinoy Program, with support from Senator Imee R. Marcos, is a nationwide competition for people working across various domains of the creative industries.
DTI, in a statement, said that holding YC2 aimed to recognize the skills of emerging Filipino creatives who play an important role in keeping the country’s economy solid.
YC2 Season 3 features two divisions, particularly the Regular and the Elementary and High School editions.
Regular Edition accepts entries in animation, game development, graphic novels, online content creation, playwriting, screenwriting, and songwriting.
Meanwhile, graphic novels, online content creation, short story writing, and songwriting are included in the Elementary and High School Editions.
