Maasin City —Kananga National High School (KNHS) football and futsal athletes, headed by coach Eusebio M. Gulay Jr., recorded a successful campaign in the recently concluded 3rd Libhu Football and Futsal Tournament in this city, bagging top finishes in multiple divisions.
KNHS emerged as Champion in the Under 13, while its Under 16 arsenal landed First Place.
Marking KNHS’s first football and futsal achievement this year, Gulay expressed gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Kananga, through Hon. Mayor Manuel Vicente “Matt” Torres, for providing the team’s transportation to Maasin City.
Moreover, the coach also expressed gratitude to KNHS Principal IV, Dr. Marivic Pajaron, and KNHS Officer-in-Charge Dr. Danilo Bustrillo for their all-out support to the football and futsal programs of KNHS.
According to Gulay, the success of KNHS in the said tournament would also not have become possible without the support of the athletes’ parents.
