Following Administrative Order No. 40, “Authorizing the Grant of the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to Government Employees for Fiscal Year 2025,” issued by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., all eligible government employees will receive a one-time cash bonus not exceeding ₱20,000.
According to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), all civilian and uniformed personnel working in national government agencies—including those in state universities and colleges—as well as those employed in government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs) and holding regular, casual, or contractual positions, are qualified to receive the SRI.
Based on the SRI guidelines, government employees who rendered three months but less than four months of service will receive 40% of the SRI. Those who rendered two months but less than three months will receive 30%, while those with one month but less than two months of service are entitled to 20%. Employees who served the government for at least one month will receive 10% of the total SRI.
Meanwhile, for Department of Education employees, the SRI will be released in two tranches. The first tranche will amount to not less than ₱10,000 but not more than ₱14,500. The remaining SRI will be released in the second tranche.
The DBM said that the release of the SRI must not be earlier than December 15, 2025.
