Based on the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (PAGASA) Tropical Cyclone Bulletin Number 7 issued on January 15, 2026, at 11 PM, valid for broadcast 5:00 AM today, the Tropical Storm Ada is now moving slowly northwestward while maintaining its strength.
Based on all available data, as of 10 PM yesterday, Ada was spotted at 385 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
Ada’s wind intensity near the center is 65 kilometers per hour (km/h), with gusts up to 80 km/h.
The weather state bureau said Ada is heading northwestward at a slow pace and its strong winds may extend outward from teh center up to 400 kilometers.

Said areas will experience strong winds from 39 km/h to 61 km/h in the next 36 hours.
